Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive in Nashville, TN. Check into your hotel for a three night stay. You will have time this afternoon for shopping at the newly-reopened Opry Mills, one of Tennessee’s top tourist attractions as well as the largest outlet, value retail and entertainment destination in the state. Dinner is included tonight at a local restaurant.

After dinner, depart for the Grand Ole Opry. What began as a simple radio broadcast in 1925 is today a live entertainment phenomenon. Dedicated to honoring country music’s rich history and dynamic present, the Grand Ole Opry showcases a mix of country legends and the contemporary chart-toppers who have followed in their footsteps.

Day 2 – After breakfast in your hotel depart on a Nashville City Tour of the Country Music Capital. Known as “Carnegie Hall of the South” it embodies all of Country Music heritage. It’s more than a place to be entertained…it’s a place where you can be a part of history. Also included this morning is a Homes of the Stars Tour. See the homes of Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn, and many other stars as you enjoy a driving tour through the neighborhoods of the elite country music artists.

Lunch today is included at the Wildhorse Saloon. This is “the” place to kick your spurs up in Music City. The dance floor is the largest in Nashville, and the music and dancing are virtually nonstop.

After lunch tour the Ryman Auditorium. Known as the “Mother Church of Country Music,” the Ryman Auditorium has been one of the country’s premiere concert venues for more than 100 years. It is also a National Historic Landmark and former home of the Grand Ole Opry.

This evening enjoy a General Jackson Dinner Cruise. It is the world’s grandest showboat that offers a delicious meal and world-class entertainment while cruising the majestic Cumberland River.

Day 3– This morning visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. It tells the story of one of America’s most endearing art forms through historic country video clips and recorded music, dynamic exhibits and a regular menu of live performances and public programs. While you’re there, don’t forget to visit the museum store, listen in on live satellite radio broadcasts or grab a bite to eat at SoBro, the museum’s on-site dining facility.

You will have free time this afternoon for lunch on own and to do a little shopping or sightseeing. Dinner tonight at Ellendale’s Restaurant. This family owned and operated restaurant serves Contemporary American Cuisine. The menu offers creative, hand crafted dishes featuring fresh produce harvested from their own garden, presented with Southern Charm in a Historic Farmhouse. After dinner you will take your Souvenir 8×11 photos.

Tonight features the Country Music Awards Live! What an evening – as you experience the fabulous 46th Annual CMA Awards, where Country Music’s newest stars are shoulder to shoulder with industry veterans! Hopefully, some of your favorites are honored tonight!

Day 4 – Depart for home this morning after breakfast.

(Please note, transportation is not included with this package.)

Day 1 (Oct 15) - You should arrive in Virginia Beach by 4:00 or 5:00pm if they want to visit their hotel first. You will have three nights of Oceanfront Lodging in the Price Category you choose.

At 6:00pm, arrive at the Cavalier Hotel, whose oceanfront ballroom is where the Big Bands of the 30′s, 40′s, and 50′s played on Saturday Night. You enjoy a candlelight seafood buffet featuring Steamed Seasoned Shrimp, “Catch of the Day” Baked Fish, Crisp Southern Fried Fish Filets, Sliced Sirloin, Hush Puppies, Red Skin Potatoes, salads, vegetables, drinks and desserts.

As dinner concludes the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra takes the stage and performs a couple of appropriate numbers to warm up the audience for our headline event: “The Sinatra Legacy,” a special tribute to the music of Frank Sinatra. Your guests will be swinging (The Cabaret Ballroom Dance Floor is Open) as our Frank Sinatra tribute artist performs “Come Fly With Me,” ” The Lady is a Tramp,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,”. “Mack The Knife,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” and “My Way.” We chose a Frank Sinatra Act for our USO Show not only because of his musical fame during the 40′s and 50′s but because he played the Cavalier Ballroom, and because he had his own lyrics for our theme song, “Thanks for The Memories”.

Day 2 (Oct 16) - Today is free to schedule your own itinerary.

A festive Buffet Dinner begins at approx 6:00pm at another of our local hotel ballrooms, it is a menu of favorite foods from Virginia. This buffet includes a great selection of Farm to Table traditional Virginia Foods such as Virginia Stuffed Pork Chops, Smithfield Ham with Apple Chutney, Pecan Crusted Free Range Chicken Breast and more.

After dinner, you travel to the Sandler Center for this evening’s music tribute “New Jersey Nights,” The Story of The Jersey Boys: Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The lead singer plays a Frankie Valli in his 20′s and performs wonderful versions of “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” “My Eyes Adored You” and, of course, “Let’s Hang On” and “Oh What A Night.”

Day 3 (Oct 17) - This morning you need to be at the Virginia Beach Military Aviation Museum by 9:30am. Here you visit hangars filled with more than 65 military aircraft from WWI and WWII. Then your guests take bleacher seats by the airfield for “Swingtime in the Skies”. But, wait, there is a surprise before the show can start. An open-air, antique, English Double Decker Bus sporting a banner for the Glenn Miller AAF Band drives up with Bob Hope, The Andrews Sisters and the entire Glenn Miller Band in WWII uniform waving from the top deck.

Our celebrities and musicians then join the audience for the “Swingtime in the Skies” Air-Show, which features narration on historic planes and music of the era with flyovers featuring both Tri-Planes and Bi-Planes. Once the Air Show ends everyone enjoys a Southern Style Cookout in the Hangar featuring Southern Style Pulled Pork, Fried Chicken, salads, vegetables, Bourbon Peach Cobbler and more.

Leaving the Museum at 12:30pm your group travels to the Sandler Center Performance Hall for a matinee performance of King Neptune’s USO Show. This event begins with a welcome and a Ceremonial Big Check Presentation by Bob Hope, TAP Partners and The Virginia Beach CVB to the Virginia Beach Area USO. With that ceremony completed our entertainers take over and you enjoy a nostalgic “Thanks for the Memories” evening with the comedy of Bob Hope, the harmony of the incomparable Andrews Sisters, and a 14-piece orchestra that is a tribute to the greatest military band of all time: The Glenn Miller AAF Band. The song list includes: “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “In the Mood,” “Moonlight Serenade,” the Army Air Corps Song” and many more.

This show is a tribute to these performers who, more than any others entertained America’s Troops while they served overseas.

By 3:00pm your are free to enjoy a local attraction, free time on the Boardwalk, and dinner on own.

Then tonight there is another event for you at The Cavalier Hotel. It’s a 1960’s Beach Party and it begins at 7:00pm. Adjacent to the oceanfront ballroom where you saw the “Sinatra Legacy”, The Cavalier Hotel has a beautiful outdoor, oceanfront stage, patio, lawn and beach seating. This evening you will enjoy more live music, hors d’ oeuvres, a dance floor, light beverages and a cash bar from 7:00-9:00pm. The theme is the movies and the music of Frankie & Annette, Elvis, The Beach Boys and others.

Day 4 (Oct 18) - Depart for home at yout leisure.

Note: It is possible the sequence of your these dinner shows may change due to the event’s huge demand. Exact schedule to be confirmed 60 days prior to arrival.

(Please note, transportation is not included with this package).

Day 1 – Saturday, Dec 29 Travel Day. On arrival in North Myrtle Beach at the Hilton Kingston Plantation you find a luxury hotel with large rooms, private oceanview balconies and a beautiful beach. This evening dinner is on your own. You have a choice of two oceanfront seafood restaurants at the Hilton or you can stop at one of the great Calabash Seafood Buffets enroute to your evening show. You will have tickets for either the Carolina Opry or Alabama Theater.

Day 2 – Sunday, Dec 30 Every day begins with a nice, private Fruitcake Breakfast at The Hilton. In theme with our event, we’ve created a continental breakfast for early risers. You’ll have coffees and juices, fresh fruit and pastries, as well as “fruitcakes from the kitchen.”

Then at mid morning you enjoy a big meal, a “Fins to the Left” buffet brunch at Ripley’s Aquarium. It’s a real tongue in cheek, food in mouth experience. Jimmy Buffett’s hit song “Fins” greets you as you enter the Aquarium; then you have a big buffet among the fishes. Following brunch you have plenty of time to explore the Aquarium exhibits and “see them circling”.

Then your afternoon here in Broadway at the Beach features a “Lost Shaker of Salt Scavenger Hunt” with prizes, discounts and coupons for all participants.

Tonight’s festivities are at Dolly Parton’s Pirate Voyage Dinner Adventure. This theatrical experience features two full sized Pirate Ships in 15 feet of water with sword fighters, the roar of cannons, acrobats and mermaids. Combined with live music and a five course dinner it’s a feast for the senses. Our special event group has a pre-show Pirate Birthday as a “Pirate Looks Back at 40.” Feel free to dress for the occasion, eye-patches and peg-legs are welcome – but please leave you cutlass at home. This is an evening where the cannons still thunder and there’s plenty to plunder for all you over-40 victims of fate. Aargh.

Day 3 – Monday, Dec 31 He sang “Come Monday it’ll be alright,” your Monday will be alright too as you start with a beautiful Caribbean Brunch Buffet at Margaritaville, Jimmy Buffett’s Myrtle Beach Restaurant. Enjoy the music and the food.

The afternoon features the newest attraction on the ocean – The SkyWheel. It’s an opportunity for the adventurous to buy a ticket and soar 200 feet above the beach. Plus there’s time to stroll the Oceanfront Boardwalk and Promenade filled with great shopping. We suggest, since this evening’s dinner is late that you enjoy an afternoon snack at the LandShark Bar & Grill; maybe a “Cheeseburger with French Fried Potatoes and a Cold Draft Beer.”

Tonight’s event is Caribbean Casual – Aloha Shirts & Muumu’s . We start with flower leis and a nice sit down - Beach Party Dinner – followed by the “Parrots of the Caribbean” – the #1 Jimmy Buffet tribute band in America. This renowned musical group does it right with live instrumental music, costume changes, land sharks and beach balls. You’ll be rocking to “Margaritaville,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” and “When the Volcano Blows,” along with other great Buffett hits. You’ll be dancing til midnight when you toast in the New Year with margaritas.

Please note there is no transporation included with this package

Day 1 – Tuesday, Aug 7: Arrive Nashville, and check-in at the hotel of your choice. Festivities begin tonight at 5:30pm on the Plaza in front of the Grand Ole Opry with a casual gathering of ETA’s (Elvis Tribute Artists). Admission is granted only by the Fan Badge included in this package.

Following the Opry Plaza Concert you can either attend this evening’s performance of the Grand Ole Opry (extra cost) or make your way to a Kick-off Party at The Drifters Lounge in the East End. Drifter’s, known for cold beer and barbecue, will be hosting several of the ETA’s and you will be able to request your favorite song for a $1.00 with proceeds going to a local charity.

Day 2 – Wed, Aug 8: Today begins at the Mother Church of Country Music, the Ryman Auditorium. Elvis Presley performed here once in 1954 and was never invited back because his style was not suited to the Opry and it’s tradition of Country Music. You will enjoy our Elvis Imitators on stage as well a tour of this former Opry Stage.

Your afternoon from 1:00-4:30pm is Honky Tonkin in Downtown Nashville. There are three continuous music shows one in the Silver Dollar Saloon, plus the Whiskey Bent Saloon main floor and their second floor The Frontier Room. Admittance to all shows is as simple as showing your Fan Badge.

Next you have an evening at the Nashville Palace near the Gaylord Hotel. It begins at 5:00pm with a Happy Hour followed by a headline concert at 8:30pm featuring great ETA’s Mark Anthony, Travis Allen, and Robert Washington. Then if you’re a real nightowl you may want to stay for Elvis Karaoke at 10:00pm.

Day 3 – Thursday, Aug 9: This day begins with admission to the Country Music Hall of Fame. You’ll be able to see Elvis’ Presley’s “Solid Gold” Cadillac as well as memorabilia by many of the greatest recording artists of all time.

Your Hall of Fame visit is followed by another afternoon of Honky Tonk music shows. Your Fan Badge will again get you free admission to the same three stages: Whiskey Bent Saloon, the Frontier Room and Silver Dollar Saloon.

The evening’s events begin with Happy Hour at the Silver Dollar Saloon. Then you walk to the nearby Hard Rock Café for a Headline Show featuring famed ETA’s Jeff Lewis, Pete Storm, Ted Torres, Anthony Shore & Tyler Hunter. Another Elvis Karaoke night here at the Hard Rock follows this concert for all you late night Elvis Fans.

Day 4 – Friday, August 10: Departure Day from Nashville.
